Lucas Franck and Caroline Bottu participated in the BeNeLux Geography Conference, where they presented their respective research during two sessions dedicated to Rural Geography.
The BeNeLux Geography Conference was organized by the geographical communities of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The event brought together geographers from the three countries to network, exchange ideas and discuss current research.
Lucas presented his research, From Submission to Approval: Understanding the Spatial Distribution of Wind Turbine Projects in Belgium, in which he compares the development of wind energy projects in Wallonia and Flanders. Caroline presented her work on Territorial Factors Shaping Citizen Energy Communities in the French Alps, exploring how local territorial dynamics influence the emergence and development of citizen energy initiatives.
