Eric Lambin, professor at the Earth and Life Institute of UCLouvain, has been awarded a €2.5 million ERC Advanced Grant. His research project aims to study the implications of the transition to renewable energies for land use, ecosystems and landscapes. To mitigate climate change, most electricity production will have to come from renewable energy sources,
